Winter Getaway Contest 2017 Winner: "We Will Definitely Be Back"

The lucky winner of our 2017 Winter Getaway Contest was Susan Leroy from Central Bridge, NY! She received a luxurious prize package that included a 2-night stay in our lakefront fantasy log home Cayuga Lodge, a welcome gift basket with gift certificates to use at the historic Fly Creek Cider Mill, a delicious meal at Mel's at 22, and an in-house massage from Cooperstown Area Massage.

Here's what Susan had to say about her trip:

Wow, what a wonderful weekend we had in Cooperstown. The weekend started in the afternoon when we arrived at Cayuga South Lodge (which was more like a palace). There was an amazing gift basket filled with everything one could imagine from Fly Creek Cider Mill. As if that were not enough, there was a very generous gift certificate to spend at the Cider Mill. On Friday night we went into Cooperstown and dined at the Tunnicliff Inn and had a delicious meal. We then went home and in the evening we had "the best massages ever" from John and Ann Marie Reilly (Cooperstown Area Massage). The following day (Saturday) we took a trip to the Fly Creek Cider Mill and met the one of the owners, Bill Michaels, and enjoyed browsing and sampling all the products at the store. Saturday evening we dined at Mel's at 22 and had another scrumptious meal. For the remainder of our weekend we enjoyed the many comforts and views at the lodge. We will definitely be back when Cooperstown is in full swing. Thanks for selecting my name as the sweepstakes winner - I certainly hit the jackpot.
